Randy is the teaching pastor, vision leader and coach for The Refinery staff and leadership team. He loves authentic, close relationships and has a passion to help people know God. Summer is one of the pastors at The Refinery. She oversees family ministry, small groups, one-on-one mentoring, prayer and pastoral care. Summer also teaches classes and preaches. She has an M.Div from Bethel Seminary. Her goal is to bring Christ's love, comfort, guidance and spiritual care to all ages. Summer's husband Will is in the process of meeting the requirements to be a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Tasia is the the church office manager and the happy voice you'll hear on the phone when you call the office. You can reach her from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Tuesday through Friday at 619-422-0121. She oversees our office and our publishing needs, including our website and media arts ministry. She has a son, Kyle and daughter, Gillian. 

Melissa Baldwin, Interim Office Manager

Melissa is filling in as Office Manager while Tasia is on maternity leave.  She is wife to Larry and mom to Landen, Isaac, Emma, Madeleine and Benjamin.  She has worked previously on church staffs in both California and Indiana.

Jon is our youth pastor, available on Sunday morning for junior high and high school students. Jon is fun and serious, a good combo for youth, somebody young people can enjoy and can talk to. 

Samantha is our worship leader. She is a vocalist and band leader with a humble God-centered style. Samantha sang in show choir at Bonita High School and is an experienced vocal worship leader

Levi oversees our church finance team. He has a BS in accounting from University of Redlands . He is getting set to work on his graduate degree in economics.

Aymie Souza, Children's Elem. Ministry 

Aymie is the coordinator for our Refinery Kids! grade school program. She is currently enrolled at Southwestern College and is working toward getting her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis on Elementary Education. As a sister to 7 siblings and aunt to 7 nieces and nephews Aymie has lots of experience caring for kids of all ages. 

Diana Zavala, Nursery/Preschool Ministry

Diana is our infant/toddler and pre-k coordinator. She is currently working toward getting a degree in child development and has a great passion for working with young children. Diana takes pride in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.  She is married to Jose and is the mom of April, 10, and Axel, 3.

Glee Blasingame, Volunteer - Pastoral Care

Glee is a former educator, administrator and elder.  She loves people and has a passion for meeting  their felt needs.

Brenda Smith, Landscaper and Gardener

The beautiful landscape you see around our site is all thanks Brenda's hard work and love for beauty and nature.

Will Armentrout, MFT

Anika Garcia,  Associate PCC

Diane Dameron, MFT

Jimmy Garcia, Associate MFT

Jimmy believes in the process of change, but he does not believe he has the power to change anyone. Change is a shared process in which Jimmy as a therapist provides the guidance and you as the client make the decisions regarding the changes necessary for your own healing.  As a therapist he attempts to understand the issues that bring you to therapy and guide you about your concerns.
